New Asteroid Discovery with the ASA UWF1000 Telescope

We are excited to announce that our ASA UWF1000 telescope, also known as the TST telescope, has been used to discover a new asteroid! This discovery aligns with the recent findings by the Solar System Group at IAC, which identified the asteroid 2024 NP2 near Earth.

Thanks to the ASA UWF1000’s wide field and precise optics, our customer was able to capture images of this previously unknown object. This achievement highlights the exceptional capabilities of our telescope, proving it to be an essential tool for discovering new celestial bodies for both professional and amateur astronomers.
